Although a seasoned veteran, Torii Hunter still possesses enough skill to make the Detroit Tigers' outfield a dying place for anything hit inside the fences.

He's been to the postseason six times during his 16-year career (11 with Minnesota, five with Los Angeles Angels), and he'll certainly have a chance at October baseball with the defending American League Central-champion Tigers.

Hunter, a four-time All-Star, signed a two-year, $26-million deal in the offseason with Detroit, and he recently spoke with MLB.com about his first spring fling in Lakeland, Fla., the mecca of all things spring baseball for the Tigers.

View the accompanying video to listen in on what Hunter thinks about his new home, the Motor City.
